About our club

Willington Quay Bowls Club is based in North Tyneside and is just south of Howdon Metro Station within Howdon Park.

Willington Quay Bowls Club is a small friendly club. If you want to play league bowls or just a casual game between friends or family why not come and join us.

The bowling season runs from early April to early September each year.

New members are very welcome. If you have never done it before why not pop along and have a go. One of the Club Members will be happy to show how to go on.

All you need is a pair of flat shoes - no heels or open-toe sandals, please. Everything else you can borrow from the club. Call in anytime when there are members present. You will usually find members enjoying a friendly game on most days especially a Saturday afternoon 1:15 pm register for the jumble, play starts at 1:30 pm.   Just come along and meet us anytime you see us on the green.
